Introduction. The right to a stable national currency is considered in the presented study as one of the types of economic rights of citizens, ensuring the realization of personal, political, social and other economic rights, since the stability of the national currency allows citizens and the state to plan the costs of implementing rights and guarantee the fulfillment of obligations assumed by the state. During the constitutional reform of 2020, the right in question received additional constitutional regulation, which requires scientific understanding. The purpose of the work is to determine the degree of influence of the constitutional reform of 2020 on the level of constitutional guarantee of the right to a stable national currency in the Russian Federation. Methods. As part of the study, mainly special methods of cognition of socio-legal phenomena (the formal legal method, circular causality method) were used which allowed assessing the impact of the correction of the language of the Constitution of the Russian Federation by provisions establishing additional guarantees for the implementation of the constitutional right to a stable national currency, and to identify the potential for improving the constitutional and current legislation to ensure the implementation of the designated right. Results. The significance of the constitutional reform of 2020 on increasing the level of guarantee of the constitutional right to a stable national currency has been revealed. Conclusions. Despite the adjustment of the provisions of the Constitution of Russia, there is still a potential for improving the constitutional and current legislation, whose implementation would ensure the guarantee of the right to a stable national currency of the Russian Federation.
