Abstract. The article analyzes the advantageous features of the economic partnership as a form of venture activity by means of revealing its peculiar legal features. These features allow to allocate the economic partnership in the system of other economic entities of corporate type. The author proves the answers to the questions about the causation of legal status of economic partnerships by innovation activity, as well as about the legal grounds of characterizing this form as a legal entity – a flexible and timely legal means for innovative projects implementation.
The comparative legal method of investigation contributed to the understanding of the legal essence of the studied organizational and legal form and the economic effects of its use. The results of the comparative analysis were obtained by referring to the time-tested business processes and the laws of foreign countries, which have launched the legal regulation of venture activities.
