SUICIDAL BEHAVIOUR OF POLICE OFFICERS: PROBLEMS OF CAUSALITY AND PROOF

Abstract. The article deals with some problems of proving causation and suicidal behavior of police officers. The author formulates the main categories used in the characterization of such behavior. Having analyzed cases the author works out some recommendations to eliminate the problems identified in the evidence and to introduce preventive measures.
