Abstract.The article raises a number of important human rights issues in the context of anti-terrorism fighting and insists that the human rights principles and standards must be observed scrupulously, in particular in the time of counter-terrorism operations. The fight against terrorism must be based on respect for human rights, legality and the rule of law.
