Abstract. The article deals with the evaluation categories as a method in legal technique based on land relations. We prove that the evaluation categories in land law are those general legal requirements that are based on legal practice and lead to the understanding of the specific land and legal phenomena and processes, providing the law enforcer with relative freedom of action. The paper estimates the classification categories in the land law, shows the dynamics of inter-industry linkages in the regulation of the content of the data evaluation categories.
