Abstract. The article attempts to carry out the general theoretical analysis of the relation of legal policy to such categories of juridical science as state functions, legal reform, legal doctrine and legal technique. The author comes to the conclusion that despite of the close connection of these categories, each of them reflects the specific phenomena of legal reality and has its own content. Due to this fact, the correct usage of these concepts in scientific and cognitive and practical aspects requires their consecutive distinction.
