Introduction: the specifics of judicial law enforcement acts-actions receive only fragmentary coverage in legal science, which is largely due to the debatable nature of opinions on the very existence of this type of law enforcement act. A consequence of this situation is also the lack of attention to the technical-legal side of such acts. This circumstance, as well as the presence of trends towards expanding the range of law enforcement situations that necessitate the preparation and implementation of relevant acts, predetermines the relevance of addressing the stated topic. Methods: the methodological framework for the research is represented by a set of methods: general scientific dialectical, formal-legal, comparative law, logical-syntactic, semantic, forecasting, analysis, and synthesis. Results: in a problematic sense, in relation to the issues examined in the corresponding section of the study, the author emphasizes both the pronounced focus on the connection of technical-legal issues with acts-documents and the disregard by some scholars for the independence of acts-actions. This is associated with endowing law enforcement acts with such mandatory features as documentary form, the express manifestation of the subject’s will, and the creation of legal consequences. Based on the results of the work, the author formulates conclusions regarding the counterproductivity of excluding from the sphere of attention a number of situations of law enforcement activity that are not amenable to formalization; equally, reducing acts-actions to relatively simple (typical) situations that require prompt decision-making and are formalized within general frameworks is also unjustified. The study also allows noting that the implementation of law enforcement acts-actions may also be associated with the atypical nature of law enforcement situations. The work also points out the fragmentary nature of the scientific development of conceptual aspects of oral legal technique, which is of particular importance in relation to the acts under consideration.
Key words: law enforcement act, law enforcement, legal technique, law enforcement technique, judicial acts, acts-actions.
