Introduction: the official interpretation of legal norms is one of the elements supporting the operability of the mechanism of the legal regulation of public relations. As a result, the competent subjects issue numerous acts of interpretation, whose number is rapidly increasing. All this not only attracts constant attention from law enforcers but also provides grounds for discussing the possibility of identifying a system of interpretative acts. Purpose: the justification of the need to identify a system of interpretative acts, based on their interconnection, and the consideration of the corresponding prerequisites for this. Methods: the methodological framework for this research is a set of scientific cognition methods, including the systemic approach, analysis, comparative law, and formal legal methods. Results: the author’s position, substantiated in the work, on the importance of identifying a system of interpretative acts, relies on the works of individual scholars, the provisions of the current legislation, the interpretative acts of subjects of official interpretation, the results of law enforcement practice, and the individual materials from speeches by the subjects of official interpretation. Conclusions: as a result of the conducted research, it is established that in modern Russia, a system of interpretative acts has developed and is successfully functioning, representing their totality, manifested in their interconnection, within which their integrity is ensured and improvement is carried out. The system of interpretative acts ensures the current vector of the state-legal development. The structure of the system of interpretative acts depends on many aspects, the determining one being the boundaries of its functioning, which are influenced by the prerequisites for the formation of this very system. The prerequisites act as a driver and determine the course of development taken by the system of interpretative acts.
