Introduction: the specific purpose of the study is to analyze the main aspects of legal support for entrepreneurial activity in the digital economy, covering such areas as the data protection regulation, the use of an electronic signature, cybersecurity, and other issues affecting entrepreneurial activity in the digital environment. The methods used in the study will include the methods of system analysis and comparative law analysis within a common methodological framework. The results of the study will help identify the main legal requirements that entrepreneurs face in the digital economy. The regulations establishing the rules for the use of an electronic signature, processing and protection of personal data, as well as the measures to ensure cybersecurity will be analyzed. In addition, possible difficulties and risks associated with the legal norms application in the digital economy will be discussed, and the recommendations for entrepreneurs on compliance with the legal requirements will be offered. The conclusions of the study will reveal the need to adapt the legal norms to the rapidly developing digital environment and emphasize the importance of ensuring data security and information technology for successful entrepreneurial activity. In addition, they may emphasize the importance of raising awareness of legal requirements among entrepreneurs and developing the operational mechanisms to respond to changing regulations in the field of the digital economy.
