Abstract. The author considers various aspects of the category of «corruption» in statutory acts of the Russian Federation and some foreign states. The main problems in the interpretation of the specified term and separate variants of the solution are offered on the basis of the analysis of the data of practice and research of the current anticorruption legislation.
