Introduction: the article deals with the basic levels of legal awareness: ordinary and scientific, as well as the author highlights the practical level of the legal awareness of emancipated minors. Their importance and relevance for the formation of the legal awareness of emancipated minors are specified. Hence, the aim of the study is to analyze the levels of the legal awareness and their significance for emancipated minors. Methods: the research methodology is based on the system-structural approach with applying the methods of analysis and synthesis, generalization, comparison and analogy. Conclusions: the study identified the problems that arise in the interaction of the above levels of the legal awareness of emancipated minors. The interrelation of the scientific and practical levels of the legal awareness allows a minor to make a decision on the necessity of emancipation, but the knowledge about the institution of emancipation is not always provided or assimilated by the minor. In the process of the educational activities, the minor gets the theoretical knowledge, which is sometimes not reflected in practice. The modern society requires a high level of the legal awareness on the part of emancipated minors; therefore, it is necessary to increase the legal awareness level of the agents and institutions of socialization, which interact with minors.

Key words: legal awareness, minor, emancipation, levels of legal awareness, socialization, education.
