Abstract. The article is devoted to legal regulation of Russian children adoption by foreign citizens. The author thinks that the problem of infringement of the rights of the child in international adoption is topical for the Russian Federation and proposes the necessity of creating in Russia the corresponding standard base consisting not only of national legislation, in details regulating requirement shown to foreign adoptive parents, but also the international contracts between Russia and other states the citizens of which adopt Russian children.
