Abstract. The article summarizes and systematized the regulatory material on the formation and development of legal regulation of the rights and freedoms of the child in the Soviet period. The author presented industry institutionalization of children’s rights, i.e. phased registration of the rights of children and their regulation in sectoral legislation of the Russian state. It is proved that all stages of the constitutional development of the Soviet period are characterized by constitutionalization of children’s rights – rights of the child are given a special status, followed by bringing sectoral legislation on childhood in accordance with the adopted Constitution. The author’s periodization of the process of children’s rights constitutionalization in Soviet Russia.
