Abstract. The article deals with the problem of studying the personality of the victim in cases of sexual assault. The author denotes the importance of studying this category of victims and gives characteristic properties of the individual personality of minor victims. The author proposes classification of the victims of this category of criminal cases on the basis of the criterion of dating the victim and the offender. In conclusion the author states that these data make it possible to establish the circumstances of a past event, to identify motivated criminal behavior and its individual qualities.
