Abstract. The article deals with the concept of “local normative act” in its Soviet and modern interpretations. It is proved that the old scientific approaches cannot be applied to the description of the modern legal system. From the viewpoint of terminology, the terms “local” and “corporate” are considered to be equivalent for the description of this group of normative legal acts. As for the sector of affiliation, the author concludes that these acts must be studied by the general theory of law, because they are connected with several branches of law: civil, administrative, labor and corporate.
Key words: local normative act, corporate act, the source of law, local norms, local regulation.
