Abstract. The article deals with the issues of legal regulation of the pledge of exclusive rights which has been legally enshrined in the Civil Code of the Russian Federation. The analysis of the introduced provisions of article 358.18 of the Civil Code was carried out in interrelation with the rules of pledge of property rights and the regulations on intellectual property.
