Abstract. The article gives a clear account of the actual problem of a doctrinally concepts of essence and
legal nature of systematization of law. The author analyzes the doctrinally concepts of system of law,
defines and characterizes of the legal nature and the purpose of systematization of law.
Key words: theory of state and law, law systematization, technique of law-making, systematization theory, legal drafting methodology.
