Abstract. In the article the author proposes to upgrade the existing paradigm of interaction between regional trading system and the multilateral trading system. Specifically, the proposal is to conduct negotiations in the WTO in order to build a multilateral framework is responsive to the needs that are being implemented today with RTS, but that may well be satisfied with the level of the universal and nondiscriminatory.
