Abstract. The article deals with the issues of lawmaking technique aiming at defining the optimal correlation in modern law systems and providing the proper interrelation. The author focuses on the criteria of their classification within legal regulation. Lawmaking technique of different types in modern European law systems is characterized. Basic trends in the formation of boundaries of international and national lawmaking are outlined.
