Abstract. This article is devoted to a fragmented examination of the question about the patterns of the constitutional control in the USSR. The relevance of this topic is due not only to define more precisely the place of the Constitution in the Soviet legal system and its
significance in strengthening the legal framework for public and social life, but also gives an
opportunity to see more clearly the perspective development of the current Constitution, and,
therefore, of the domestic legislation.
