Abstract. The article deals with the problem of logical essence of human rights and the correctness of statements on the natural character of human rights. The analysis of traditional approaches is based on research of human rights ontology via particular qualities of their informational status. The author makes conclusion about the incorrectness of human rights derivation from human’s nature and suggests alternative approaches to solution of this problem.
